FAQs:
Do you take insurance? What are your rates?
Current insurances accepted are Cigna, Aetna, Carelon (Behavioral Health), Ascension (Smart Health) BCBS of Texas and Quest Behavioral Health.
New patient evaluations are $250 and all follow up visits are $150. Cash, major credit cards/debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards are currently acceptable forms of payment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We value your time and want to make sure every patient has the opportunity to be seen when they need us. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed appointments or late cancellations will be subject to a $50 fee.
We know that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes things come up unexpectedly. If an emergency happens, please reach out as soon as you can, and we’ll do our best to support and accommodate your situation.
What if I need assistance outside of office hours?
After-Hours Contact Policy
At Roots and Reverie, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and support. Please note that we do not provide 24/7 crisis services. If you are in need of help outside of our regular office hours, we encourage you to follow these guidelines:
Non-Urgent Matters
For routine questions or to reschedule an appointment, you may leave us a voicemail or send a message through the patient portal. Messages received outside of business hours will be answered within 24–48 hours beginning the next business day.
Prescription Refills
Please submit medication refill requests through the patient portal or by calling during our regular office hours. Refill requests cannot be processed after hours or on weekends.
Urgent Mental Health Concerns
If you are struggling and need immediate support but are not in life-threatening danger, you can call the 24/7 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988 to be connected with someone right away.
Emergencies
If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency—such as thoughts of harming yourself or others, severe side effects from medication, or another urgent crisis—please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room for immediate help.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these guidelines. Above all, please remember that your safety and well-being are our top priority.
